Now they are written down, alot of them, anyway. I have done my best to provide you with a collection of "their" stories and memories told at the Whipple Company Store. It is a priviledge to share them with you.
"I need to talk to the story lady," she said to the intern at the front window. "I need to tell her about the dead ringer" I approached the window and ask if she wanted to take a tour. She was on a mission that was for sure and she was here to tell me what that mission was. "No," she said, "I came to tell you about your dead ringer box, can i come in?" (Mabel's story)
"Ok little lady, tell them about that bucket."I responded sadly, "you know I don't know anything about that little bucket." He stated matter of factly, " yes, I know you don't , but I traveled quite a distance today to tell you about it. I think its past finally needs to be known." (Sam's bucket)
