Enter our time machine at the Whipple Company Store & Museum and travel back to a 3 dimensional world of creative curiosity. You exit the time machine slowly with great anticipation, what are you about to discover? Glancing around you notice your standing in an old run down room, possibly a laundry, looking in the corner you see an old wash board and metal tub, lye soap and a clothesline. The clothes hanging on the line resemble the 1900’s. You do not want to look like a stranger from the future, so you put some of the clothing attire on. You are now prepared and ready to spend the next 3 hours interacting with the events of that time. What will you discover about the early years of the 1900’s, what did they eat, how did they work, where did they sleep, and who will you meet? The excitement begins.

Heritage Time Travelers is a museum program that introduces the student to many educational opportunities. We take a hands on approach to learning about history, through the experience of connected activities.
Imagine what life was like with Alexander Graham Bell, Leonardo Di Vinci, Hemmingway, Beethoven, the gold rush and the Wild West. Each week we will enter the time machine from 2016 and exit in a time in the past.
